Spring Clean TBR.

I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m desperate for a bit of sun – Spring I need you to arrive. I long for days which are warm, for the trees to begin and grow their leaves back and flowers to begin to blossom. Days were I can happily go out and read, take photographs and watch as the world comes alive once again, I miss the buzzing of bees and technicolour of flowers. Hopefully, this will happen soon.

Whenever Spring arrives, I usually do a complete unhaul of nearly every aspect of my room. I unload all the draws and sort out whatever I had stuffed away in Winter months. I go through my clothes, performing my own fashion show to determine what I should keep or donate.  I look under my bed and attempt to deal with all the different types of clutter which live under there – where is a Creaker when you need one! But I also go through my books, I do this periodically throughout the year anyway, but during Spring this is when I perform an extreme unhaul. Whether I decide what books I should be reading as soon as possible to determine if they will remain on my shelves or be donated or given to friends or family. Which is why, since there is no Spring weather I’ve decided I will focus on tackling my TBR rather than the books I’d like to give away.

These are the books which I hope to read throughout Spring (if it ever arrives that is):

  • The Miseducation of Cameron Post by Emily M. Danforth
  • Wonder Woman By Leigh Bardugo
  • Batman By Marie Lu
  • The Exact Opposite of Okay By Laura Steven
  • Wing Jones By Katherine Webber
  • Wilde Like Me By Louise Pentland

As you can see this is only a small TBR for Spring as I have a lot of university reading which I need to get to and assignments to write. Though I expect that my Summer TBR will be quadruple what is on here. I’m excited to dive into all these worlds and live many adventures.

What books are on your Spring TBR? Do you think the sun will arrive and Spring with it?

  1. I’m really, really hoping the sun is going to show itself.. decently.. And not just “hey, here I am! And now I’m gone again.” :’)

I finished The Exact Opposite of Okay on Sunday and I really, really loved that book! The MC is ridiculously unique and she made the whole thing that much better, haha. Hope you’ll enjoy it as well. 🙂

    1. Me too, I’m desperate for the sun to appear and just stay here for a while.

oh I can’t wait to pick up TEOOO then because I’ve heard nothing but brilliant things about it! Will definitely be picking up up once all my assingments and deadlines have been met!

  2. I’m intrigued to see what you think of Wonder Woman. I read it awhile back but wasn’t *too* impressed, though it was a fun and quick read. The movie for The Miseducation of Cameron Post has been getting a lot of praise, so that could be interesting! I think my Spring TBR *should* consist of the books I’ve been sent for review over the past few months but have neglected thank to uni work ahaha 😆

    1. I completely relate to the Uni work meaning I can’t get to reading review copies but only a week to go before I can dive in and get these reviews up and written. I am looking forward to reading Wonder Woman but I’ve heard the same opinion from a few people. I can’t wait to get to The Miseducation of Cameron Post.
