Books of January and February 2018.

As you may have seen in my previous post I’ve been ill and because of this and the fact I will sleeping almost 24/7, this means I wasn’t able to do individual monthly wrap-ups and quite frankly I barely read at all. Which has made me feel quite sad but I’m hoping this might mean the rest of the year will be filled with lots of great books. Hopefully, I will also be able to get my university reading under control too because if you get behind for one second then you feel like you’ll be behind forever!

Only Nine books in two months, I have to admit I am a little disappointed as for the past two years in January I managed to read at least 15. Alas, we have the rest of the year to get some reading done and even though I only read nine books I have to admit they were all brilliant. With my favourite most likely being Rena’s Promise, a story of two sisters attempting to survive Auschwitz which is so raw and powerful, admittedly I cried like a baby. But since it was recently the memorial since the Holocaust I think it’s such an important one to read.

Individual Reviews to come soon. Let me know if you’ve read any of these and what you thought of them.

    1. I loved The Christmassaurs! It was such a fun read, I think I enjoyed them equally though I’m looking forward to see what he brings out next! Nevermore is so good and I can’t agree more in looking forward to Wundersmith! x

  1. 9 books in 2 months is still more than I can manage at the moment, every time I settle down to try and read, my little one decides he wants to eat my book… T_T
Not heard of any of these book but will definitely be checking them out 🙂

    1. That is never good about little ones attempting to eat the books. I recently gotten a puppy and this is something he certainly attempts to do. I can’t wait to hear what you think of them if you get to read them! x
