September Book Haul 2017

Autumn is here! My favourite season is upon us and I think this is the perfect time for me to do my first book haul on this blog. Which is a completely different book haul process to what I’m used too, 4 years on booktube I was used to sitting in front of a camera showing the books! But this was different with taking photographs and I am no photographer but maybe I might improve over time but anyway here are the books!

img_1181The first load of books which I purchased was during the first Northern Book Club meeting were Cora, Aimee and Steph kept recommending me so many amazing books but I only bought five, surprisingly! I purchased; After the Fire by Will Hill, If I was your Girl by Meredith Russo, This Careless Life by Rachel McIntyre and Pax by Sara Pennypacker. However what made this trip super exciting is that I found two books I’ve been looking forward to for months which is Goth Girl and the Sinister Sympathy and Star Wars; Phasma by Delilah S. Dawson! I’m really looking forward to the next meeting purely to see what new books I will find.

However, although at the start of the month I was extremely good at my book buying unfortunately I found myself on #booksfortradeuk tag on twitter and mangaged to trade for some amazing books along with found some books on the Tesco 2 for £7 deal. How can I resist that! I was able to to trade for ARCs of Replica by Lauren Oliver and Zenith by Sasha Alsberg and Lindsay Cummings which I am excited to read. But also purchased History is All you Left Me by Adam Silvera, Letters from the Lighthouse by Emma Carroll, The Little Teashop of Lost and Found, Obiting Jupiter By Gary. D Schmidt and George By Alex Gino (Read and Loved!). I also picked up Hope as I knew that it was one of the books for Zoe’s NoSaferPlace book club – which you should all check out!

I just realised that I got a lot of books during the month of September… A Lot. Oops. However along with the books I was lucky enough to receive four books from publishers/blog tours to read for review so thank you very much to them!

I hope this was an alright first book haul on this blog, please let me know if you have any suggestions how to improve or what you like to see and for me to write. Also let me know if you’ve read any of these books and your thoughts. Thanks for reading!

  1. Blimey what a haul! I have a copy of George at home but I haven’t read it yet. I also read Project SemiColon & my review is up next month I believe. I wasn’t wowed by it but hopefully you are! Happy reading (: xx
